The Museum Estate and Development Fund (MEND) opened on 1 June 2021. You can apply for between £50,000 and £5 million for capital funding to undertake vital infrastructure and urgent maintenance backlogs which are beyond the scope of day-to-day maintenance budgets.
This is open to Accredited museums (including ‘Provisional’ status) but not to museums officially working towards Accreditation.
EOI deadline: 5 July. Full application opens 2 August with a final deadline of 18 October.
